Why Did He Bust?? (Kwame Brown)
5 Reasons Why Kwame Brown Busted
Expectations were high for Kwame Brown when he was picked #1 by Michael Jordan in the 2001 NBA Draft. He was projected to be the next Kevin Garnett. As we know, this couldn't be further from the truth. But why did he bust? Lets get into it...
- Kwame Brown thought it was "ok" to miss practice whenever he wanted because he was the first pick. So instead of going to practice and working on his game, he would go to the nearest IHOP and eat as many pancakes as possible in 30 mins.
- Kwame wanted to play in the NHL instead of the NBA. Even though he has never worn ice skates in his life, and can't even name 4 hockey teams.
- Before games he would play checkers with the team equipment manager, instead of getting ready for the game.
- During practices (when he actually attended) he would miss shots on purpose cause he thought it was "fun". In one practice he missed a shot so bad that it went 14 rows deep and nailed a 75 year old man, square in the face. I guess he got used to missing shots, which explains his 2.2 ppg average for his career.
- When the team had film sessions, Kwame would play tic-tac-toe or hangman. But he would always end up playing against himself because he could never get anybody else to play with him during the film session.
Kwame Brown was a big disappointment. For anybody that ever bought his jersey, I feel bad that you wasted your money.
